OMNIA VOLT® FM OVERVIEW

Single-rack-space, full-featured mono or stereo FM broadcast audio processor. 24-bit processing and converters, wideband AGC followed by five separate time-aligned multi-band AGC sections and five separate time-aligned limiter sections, each with separate controls for every important parameter.
Advanced, next-generation Frank Foti–designed clipper. Adjustable BS-412 Threshold and Processing for full compliance with ITU standards. Stereo Enhancement for FM Analog, without adding multipath. Variable high-pass filter to manage those ultra-low frequencies and switchable phase rotator for symmetrical clipping performance.

Automatic mono “dry voice” sensing keeps an extra hand on the clipper, to stop distortion when the L+R channel gets boosted by mono signals. Ideal for FM analog stereo stations using extreme processing. Switchable low-latency mode lets you manage tradeoffs between low delay and highest quality. QuickTweak™ adjustment system lets anyone fine-tune processing like a pro. Dozens of great-sounding factory
presets, created by some of the best ears in the industry.

Analog, AES/EBU, and Livewire AoIP inputs and outputs. FM stereo generator with dual variable composite MPX outputs. Switchable insert points for Voltair, watermark encoders, or other downstream encoding. Automatic “failover” signal switching, designating a backup input if your main signal drops out or STL fails.
Rugged one-rack-unit construction fits any control room, technical center, or transmitter shack, with easy-to-see LED meters. Proven design optimized for the demands of remote transmitter sites. Cool-running, fanless operation so noise is not an issue. Built-in tone generator. Easy setup with full control from front panel.

Full remote control via Ethernet port using built-in HTML5 web interface. Front panel stereo headphone jack with level control. Dual software banks, updatable and convertible to AM, HD-Pro or SG DSP|Cores with a simple software download.
